Profile It is my belief that the Elders are the Keepers of cultural knowledge and language. They play a vital role in the development and implementation of language programs. In addition, involvement of our respected Elders is essential for development of Wolastoq language materials. We must ensure that our language materials reflect local knowledge, dialects and cultural nuances. This approach will ensure blending of traditional and formal knowledge bases. |
